オオケブカツノガニ
Libinia ferreirae de Brito Capello, 1871
特 徴：
甲幅7cm。甲の輪郭はほぼ円形で，甲，はさみ脚，歩脚ともフェルト状の短毛でおおわれている。甲面は強く盛り上がり，とげ状の突起が左右相称に並んでいる。突起は甲の正中線に6本，各原胃域に1本，各肝域に1本，各鰓域に合計5本あるが，何本かがすりへったり，折れたりしていることが多い。また，口部前側角に1本，肝域縁の後部に1本，下肝域に2本，鰓域縁に4本の突起がある。額角はわずかに下方に突出し，先端部のみ二叉する。眼窩前縁は突起状。雄のはさみ脚は長大で，長節上縁の基部に小突起がある。掌部外面には上縁に沿って縦溝が走る。十分に成長した雄では不動指の基部が曲がり，可動指との間にすき間が残る。歩脚は管状で長い。

Diagnostic characters：
Carapace orbicular, and as well as chelipeds and ambulatory legs covered with a felt-like thick coat of short setae, dorsal surface being armed with several spiniform tubercles arranged symmetrically; six in median line, one on each protogastric region, one on each hepatic region and five on each branchial region, and otherwise one at anterolateral angle of buccal frame, two on subhepatic region, one at posterior part of hepatic border and four on branchial border. Front strongly developed, bifurcate at its tip and only weakly curbed downward; supraorbital angle also tuberculated. Chelipeds of male enormously developed; upper border of merus armed with a small spiniform tubercle, and outer upper surface ornamented with a longitudinal shallow furrow along its upper border. Ambulatory legs long and cylindrical.

Guianas and Brazil, 9-35 m deep.
