Carapace oblong and convex laterally as a whole; two transverse furrows, the anterior of which is continued with a longitudinal submarginal furrow; dorsal surface with soft short hairs and fine short transverse striae, without spines or tubercles; several spinules on median part of transverse ridge along posterior border of carapace; a small anterolateral spine directed obliquely outward. Rostrum protruded as a sharp tubercle, about one-third as long as carapace, its dorsal surface being crested throughout its length. Basal segment of antennule inflated, being armed with two spines on its outer distal end, the inner of which is much longer. Chelipeds long; merus with several equidistant spines on upper margin and some on inner margin; distal margin of merus and carpus each with three spines; male chela with larger palm and convex immovable finger. Ambulatory merus, with some spinules on proximal part of anterior border; each anterior border of meri and carpi with a terminal spine, and also posterior borders of dactyli each with a series of some spinules.
