特 徴：
殻高25mm，殻径7mm。殻は堅牢で全身赤褐色。螺塔は高く，各層に間隔をおいて縦肋があり，次体層で22，この間を数本の細い螺肋がつなぐ。縦肋は肩から下（前）にしかなく，縫合直下は広く空き，こヽには微細な成長脉があるのみである。体層では縦肋は殻底でむしろ顆粒の縦列になっているが，縫帯では弱い螺条のみとなる。殻口は狭く，外唇の肩より上に浅い切れ込みがある。軸唇は平滑，前管溝は短いが僅かに捩れる。
採集記録：
水深84m（生貝1）。

南米北岸。
Diagnostic characters：
Height 25 mm, breadth 7 mm. Shell solid, fusiform, reddish brown. Spire turreted, with spaced axial ribs, 22 on the penultimate whorl, below the shoulder, and spiral ribs between them and growth lines rather distinct below the suture. Axial ribs become granulated ribs in the base of the body whorl. Aperture narrow. A shallow sinus presents above the shoulder on the outer lip. Siphonal canal short, but weakly twisted.
