Height 103mm, breadth 60 mm. Shell ovoidal, rather thin, with low spires and large body whorl. Spiral ribs about 10 on the upper whorls and some 30 on the body whorl, as subequally wide as inter-rib grooves except in subsutural region where ribs slender. Surface white with a thin periostracum. Aperture broad, oval, with slightly thickened and crenulated outer lip. Columellar lip with a thin callus.
Distribution:
Southeast Florida and off Suriname.
Remarks:
This is the largest species among the genus. Thin shell with weakly crenulated outer lip is characteristic for this species.
