特 徴：
側線域を除き，体は無鱗。背鰭は胸鰭起部〜尾鰭基底間の中央より明らかに後方にある。側線鱗はほぼ菱形で，著しく細長くはない。吻は非常に長い。下顎の先端は上方へ強く湾曲し，その先に非骨質性の小突起がある。下顎歯は2列で，固着性の小さな外列歯と可倒性の長い内列歯からなる。最前の2本を除く内列歯は釣り針状。鼻孔は主上顎骨後端のほぼ直上にある。眼前に小黒点がない。管状発光体がない。腹鰭と臀鰭の間に腹部脂鰭がある。胸鰭と腹鰭は小さい。体色は全体に暗褐色で，背面と側線域が濃い。
分 布：
大西洋。スリナム沖。模式産地-ブラジル沖。
備 考：
本個体はハシナガナメハダカの第4番目の既知標本である。 （藤井）
Distinctive characters：
Body and head naked except lateral line region. Dorsal fin located distinctly behind midway between pectoral fin insertion and caudal fin base. Lateral-line scales roughly diamond-shaped, not so elongate. Snout very long. Lower jaw with tip distinctly curved upward; a small nonossified prolongation on its tip. Teeth on lower jaw in two series; the outer series of teeth small, fixed, and the inner series long, depressible and then hooked except the first two teeth. Nostrils almost above posterior end of maxillary. No black spot before eye. No luminous duct. Ventral adipose fin between pelvic and anal fins. Pectoral and pelvic fins small. Color of body overall dark brown, darkest on dorsum and lateral line region. No saddle-like blotches on body.
Distribution：
Atlantic Ocean. Off Suriname. Type locality-off Brazil.
Remarks：
The present individual will be the 4th known specimen of D. fuliginosa. (Fujii)
