Carapace broadly oval in its outline, weakly convex dorsally; areolae distinct and wholly covered with sparse short hairs and partly with minute granules. Front nearly truncated, being distinctly separated from supraorbital angle. External orbital angle weakly raised; first anterolateral tooth small and conical, and below it a granulated prominence at subhepatic region; second tooth larger and sharper than the first; last two teeth rather spiniform and weakly curved forward at their tips. Chelipeds long and unequal; carpus and palm more or less scabrous, with minute granules and short hairs; inner angle of carpus armed with a large tubercle and much smaller one below it. Ambulatory legs long and hairy.
