特 徴：
殻長35mm，殻高25mm，殻幅14mm。殻はうすく長卵形で，左右いく分ふくれる。殻頂はほぼ中央で尖る。前背はむしろ少し凹み，前縁から腹縁はゆるやかな曲線を描く。殻頂から後腹隅にかけて低い稜が走る。後端は細まり尖る。後背縁は殆ど直線的。楯面は明らか。殻の後方は右へ強く曲る。殻表は灰白色，うすい殻皮を被る。内面は白く左の外套湾入は著るしく深く，前閉殻筋痕から，套痕の前半部に沿い走る。
採集記録：
水深80m（死殻3）。
分 布：
フロリダ，テキサス，西インド諸島，スリナム，ブラジル。
Diagnostic characters：
Length 35 mm, height 25 mm, breadth 14 mm. Shell oblong, thin, rather inflated. Beak central, erect. Antero-dorsal margin somewhat concave then continues to gently curved anterior and ventral margins. Posterior portion narrows. Low ridge runs from umbo to postero-ventral corner. Postero-dorsal margin straight, with distinct escutcheon. Posterior portion turns to the right. Surface grayish white with thin periostracum. Interior white. Pallial sinus deep running along the anterior adductor scar to the anterior half of pallial scar.

Florida, Texas, West Indies and Suriname. Shelf.
