特 徴：
甲長3.5cm。甲は著しく縦長の楕円形。甲面は滑らかで，光沢がある。額の中央歯はほぼ三角形で，とげ状の眼窩外歯よりも突出する。眼窩上縁には2歯あるが，外側の歯は先端がとげ状で，外縁基部が斜めに切断されている。眼窩上縁の2歯を分ける溝は細く，深い。甲の前側縁のとげは長く，斜め前方を向く。甲の側縁は弱く湾曲し，前方1/3ほどの部分で甲の最大幅をなす。はさみ脚は細長い。座節の下縁中央に1本，腕節上面の先端近くに左右に並んだ大小2本，掌部上縁の末端部に1本，可動指の上縁基部に1本のとげがある。また，掌部下縁は4，5歯に刻まれている。歩脚の腕節上縁および前節と指節の両縁は板状で，第3歩脚の前節後縁は葉状に突出する。指節はいずれも幅広いが，第3対のものもとがらない。
採集記録：
水深60〜85m（3♂♂，5 ovig.♀♀，1♀）。
分 布：
従来の記録はアメリカ・ルイジアナ州ミシシッピ河口の東部沖合，水深120m。
Diagnostic characters：
Carapace much longer than broad; dorsal surface glabrous and rather evenly convex laterally. Median frontal tooth conical in dorsal view, with lateral borders very weakly convex, exceeding level of external orbital spine; supraorbital border cut into two teeth by two narrow slit-like gutters; inner one sharp and directed obliquely outward, and distal half of outer one is also spiniform and nearly reaches to level of external orbital spine. An anterolateral spine sharp and directed obliquely outward. Chelipeds slender; a spine at inner distal end of ischium; carpus with two spines arranged side by side at subdistal part of upper surface; palm with a terminal spine on upper border and five spines on lower border; movable finger with a spinule at proximal part of upper border. In first three ambulatory legs anterior border of each carpus and both borders of propodi and dactyli sharply crested; posterior border of propodus of third pair strongly produced to form a high lobe.
Distribution：
Previously known only from the type-locality, east of the Mississippi Delta, Louisiana, 120 m deep.
