特 徴：
殻高30mm，殻径16mm。殻は薄質で長卵形，内巻きで螺塔は見えないで小孔となっている。上方は狭まっているが，下方は広く，体層には100数10本の細い螺状溝が走る。殻質は白いがこの螺溝は褐色で間隔は不規則であるが強さは比較的揃っている。殻口外唇はこの彫刻に従って微細に刻まれる。上（後）隅わずかに尖って張り出している。内唇から軸唇にかけてゆるやかな曲線を描き，滑層が沈着しその外周に漆状の被覆がある。歯
歯（a）はへの字型，胃板（b）は亜三角形で凹凸が多い。
採集記録：
水深277m（生貝2）。
分 布：
ハテラス岬以南，バルバドス，ベネズェラ，スリナム。
Diagnostic characters：
Height 30 mm, breadth 16 mm. Shell oval, thin, involute, without showing spires externally but with a small pit. Body whorl narrows adapically but widens abapically, with more than 100 slender striations of brownish coloration on the pure white background. Outer lip finely crenulated in accordance with spiral sculpture, acutely expanded posteriorly. Inner to columellar lips gently curved with a thick callus with a lacquar-colored deposit. Radular teeth curved. Gastric shield (b) subtriangular.
Distribution：
South of Cape Hatteras, Barbados, Benezuela and off Suriname.
