A small species with rather slender carapace and abdomen. Carapace not so rough, only with flattened branchial region and a transverse hepatic sulcus. Rostrum overreaching tip of cornea, being almost horizontal as a whole or only slightly curved; three teeth on upper margin, and tip bifurcating, but lower tooth reduced to a blunt angle. Postrostral carina of carapace not so sharp, but distinct along its whole length, being armed with two teeth which are placed just behind rostrum and at about posterior one-third. Sculpture of abdomen distinct, especially so on first three segments; tips of pleurae sharp, and in posterior three segments a spine each on posterolateral slope; dorsal carina of abdomen just like postrostral carina of carapace; anterior end of first segment and posterior end of sixth segment sharply produced.
