特 徴：
殻長23mm，殻高16mm，殻幅12mm。殻はやや薄質で，四辺形。殻頂は中央よりやや，前にあって?線は直線的。前縁は丸く，腹縁は直線的より凹む。後半は前半より大きく，張り出し，?線とは鈍角で合する。殻表白く，やや顆粒状になった放射肋が密にあり，放射肋は殻頂から後腹隅に走る低い稜線より背後方のものはやや粗い。また，殻体後半には肋上に細い溝があり二分されるものも出てくる。殻表は褐色の殻皮におおわれ，縁辺近くでは毛状に立つ。内面は白色。?歯は多歯型，腹縁は殻表の肋に応じて刻まれる。
採集記録：
水深93m（生貝1）。

フロリダ南部〜テキサス，カリブ海，スリナム。
Diagnostic characters：
Length 23 mm, height 16 mm, breadth 12 mm. Shell quadrate in outline, rather thin. Beaks a little ahead the center. Hinge line straight. Anterior margin round, continuous to straight ventral margin. Posterior portion higher than the anterior with obliquely truncated posterior margin. Surface with granulous radial ribs that become stronger posteriorly and some divided with a shallow groove. Periostracum brownish, hairy. Interior white. Cardinal teeth taxodont. Ventral margin crenulated in corresponding to external radial sculpture.
Distribution：
Southern Florida, Texas, Caribbean Sea and off Suriname. Shelf.
