Height 46 mm, breadth 25 mm. Shell thick, solid, short fusiform. Surface cancellated with strong, sharp axial (about 40 on the penultimate whorl) and spiral (5-6 on the same) cords, granulous at intersections. Axials become more crowded towards the outer lip presenting a rippled appearance. Color yellowish brown with irregular darker clouds. Aperture narrow. Outer lip thick, white and with a dozen of sharp spiral ridges within. Columellar lip covered with white callus and 3 strong columellar folds of which upper two fused together. Fasciole thick closing umbilicus but leaving a narrow slit. Siphonal canal narrow and shallow.
