Height 5 mm, apertural diamater 32 × 22 mm. Shell thin, flat, oval, curved in accordance with the attached substratum (dead shell). Apex terminal. Surface white, with growth lines, covered with a thin periostracum near margin. Aperture white, shining, with septum giving a shell a slipper-like appearance.
Distribution:
Canada to Texas and to Brazil.
Remarks:
This is almost identical with C. walshi in Western Pacific. These two names will be synonymous.
