Height 33 mm, breadth 9 mm. Shell thin, turreted, with straight lateral walls on which 2 strong spiral ribs, one below and one above the suture, giving each whorl a pully-like shape. Surface white with irregular axial stripes of various width usually darkening on ribs. Base flat. Aperture subquadrate with thin outer lip.
